Facilitating and Changing Perceptions of Women’s Political Participations Through Writing and Printmaking.

The purpose of this public engagement project is to create high-quality and fulfilling opportunities for women’s political participation, using a range of discussion, writing and design activities. In doing so, the study will assess the value of these approaches, which include engagement with historical documents, creative writing activities and contemporary and traditional print-making techniques. A secondary goal is to raise the profile of women’s participation within political life historically and generate awareness of the problems associated with these women’s lack of visibility.
